How the comparison works
Why both lists are needed in full
Mutuality is not a property of a person but the result of comparing two sets. To say “this one doesn’t follow back”, you need to know everyone the profile follows and everyone who follows it.
From which follows something unpleasant but honest: the comparison cannot be done “on the first hundred”. If the lists are only partially loaded, a person we never reached lands wrongly in “doesn’t follow back” — and the report lies in exactly the place it was bought for. So we collect both lists to the end and only then compare.
Matching runs on internal account numbers rather than handles: a handle changes in a second, the number never does. Otherwise someone who renamed themselves would look like someone who left.
How to read the result
What each of the three lists means
Don’t follow back — the one people come for. These are accounts the profile follows voluntarily without getting attention in return. The top of the list matters most: recent follows, that is recent interest.
One-sided followers — the reverse: people who read the profile while staying unnoticed. This list is often longer than expected.
Mutual — connections confirmed from both sides. Usually the shortest of the three and the most telling.
What the lists cannot explain: reasons. A missing follow-back does not mean dislike, and a mutual follow does not mean closeness. The report shows facts, not relationships.

- No dates: when exactly someone followed or unfollowed is known to nobody, including Instagram’s own interface.
- Does not work with private profiles — they show their lists to nobody.
- Does not watch changes by itself: one report is a snapshot, not monitoring over time.
- Explains no reasons: why someone does not follow back does not follow from the data.

How do I find out who doesn’t follow me back?
Two lists have to be compared: following and followers. Instagram shows them separately and offers no way to compare. We collect both in full and show the difference — the accounts present in following but absent from followers.
Can I check someone else’s account, not just my own?
Yes, if it is public. The check requires no login and has nothing to do with whose profile it is. Your own account is checked exactly like any other.
How do I find out who unfollowed me?
Directly you cannot, and that is the honest answer. Instagram keeps no unfollow history and exposes it through no interface. The report shows the state at the moment of the check. To see who left, you need two reports taken apart in time — the difference is then visible in the lists.
Can I see the date someone followed or unfollowed?
No. Follow dates exist neither in the app, nor in the official API, nor anywhere else. There is only order, and it is chronological. A service showing “unfollowed on March 14” invented that date.
Why does the mutual check cost the same as the full lists?
Because it costs us the same. To know who does not follow back, both lists must be obtained in full: comparing partial ones is meaningless — a person we did not reach would wrongly land in “doesn’t follow back”. Same work, no saving.
Can mutual follows be checked on a private profile?
No. A private account shows its lists to nobody, so there is nothing to compare. We reject such profiles before you pay, not after.
Will the person know they were compared?
No. We do not follow, do not unfollow, do not view stories and do not touch the profile on your behalf. Nothing happens on their side.
How long is the result kept?
7 days at the link sent to your email, then it is deleted. CSV export is included — save it if you need the lists for longer.
