How to find out who unfollowed you on Instagram
Names come from comparing two snapshots of the follower list taken on different days: whoever was in the first and gone from the second has unfollowed, and whoever appears in the second is a new follower. The count starts at the first check: every check after it names who left and who arrived and emails you both lists. That is why the report names the interval between checks rather than an invented minute. A person may have unfollowed, deleted the account or become unavailable — the list alone cannot tell those apart, and the report does not pretend otherwise.

This is a demonstration of the format, not data from a real profile. A purchased result contains rows for the public account you specify.
Three steps
How monitoring works
- 01
Enter the profile
Yours or someone else’s: it just needs to stay public while monitoring is active.
- 02
Pay for 30 days
There is no automatic renewal or hidden repeat charge.
- 03
Receive changes
The full follower list is compared: who unfollowed and who followed. The history stays on a private page, and how often is shown next to the price.
No hidden tiers
30-day pricing
A one-time payment with no auto-renewal. Pricing follows follower count and is shown before payment. The list is compared in full, and how often is shown for each tier. Checkout stays unavailable outside the supported volume.

What to know about unfollows and follows
01Is there a free way to see who unfollowed?
There is exactly one: export the follower list by hand every day and compare it with yesterday’s. With a hundred followers that works; beyond it the chore is daily, and one skipped day breaks the chain. Monitoring runs the same comparison for you and emails the names.
02Will it show people who left before I signed up?
The count starts at the first check: every check after it names who left and emails you the list. Instagram keeps no record of earlier unfollows either, so there would be nothing to compare against.
03How often is the list compared?
In full every time: every follower is compared, not just the count, so departures and arrivals both show up even when the total has not moved. Lists up to 2,500 followers are compared every day, up to 5,000 roughly every 1–2 days, up to 20,000 roughly every 1–3 days and up to 50,000 every 2–4 days: the bigger the list, the longer and costlier it is to pull.
04Can I see the exact unfollow time?
No. The service can only place the change between two checks. A departure is reported once a second independent check confirms it, so a glitch in Instagram’s list does not turn into a false unfollow.
05How do I see who followed me on Instagram?
Monitoring shows new followers too. The first check records everyone who already follows: they are not called new, they are the starting point. After that every check names the people who appeared in the list since the previous one and emails them together with the unfollowers.
06Can I see who unfollowed or followed someone else?
Yes. Monitoring works with any public profile, yours or someone else’s: enter the username and we will send who unfollowed it and who followed it. The service does not interact with the account; it only reads the public follower list.
07How does the check work?
Every check pulls the full follower list and compares it with the previous snapshot. Whoever is missing is checked again by a second, independent method, and only then reported as an unfollow. Whoever appears is reported as a new follower. How often the check runs is shown next to the price.
08Do I need an app?
No, it runs as a web service.
09Where are alerts delivered?
To the email address entered at checkout.
10Will I be charged automatically again?
No. This is one payment for 30 days and monitoring ends automatically.
11Why must the profile be public?
A private profile does not expose its follower list externally.
Why Instagram never names who unfollowed
The built-in reports are aggregate by design. They give numbers and withhold people: you see “minus eight this week” and never learn which eight.
The reason is product, not technology. A named list of departures would turn unfollowing into a public conflict, so the platform withholds it.
The only workable approach is comparing two snapshots of the follower list taken on different days. The difference is the answer.
Seeing who followed, on your profile or someone else’s
The app does not always show new-follower notifications, and they quickly sink in the activity feed. For someone else’s profile there are no such notifications at all.
Monitoring covers both in one check: every email names the people who unfollowed and the people who followed. The profile can be yours or any other public one.
Finding unfollowers on iPhone and Android
There is no difference between the systems, and that matters. Unfollows are not stored on the phone: they are absent from the app on every platform.
Monitoring therefore works from outside and opens identically in a browser on iPhone, Android or a desktop. Nothing needs installing.
Unfollower apps and why they are risky
Most programs in this niche ask you to log into Instagram at some step. What follows is rarely mentioned in the description.
- Your password reaches a third party. Even an honest developer can suffer a breach.
- A login from another country. The platform sees suspicious activity and may restrict the account.
- Automated actions. Some programs also follow and unfollow in your name.
- Access outlives deletion. You removed the app, but the permission you granted still stands.
Free methods and their ceiling
Unfollows can be found for free, and there is exactly one way: export the follower list by hand and compare it with the previous one.
With a hundred followers that is realistic. With a thousand it becomes a daily chore, and skipping days destroys the point.
Monitoring does the same for you: it compares the whole list and sends the names on its own. You pay for regularity, not for secret access that does not exist.
You can also watch someone’s follows
This product watches a follower list: who left and who arrived. The mirror task is watching a public profile’s following list: who they followed and who they unfollowed.
The mechanism is identical — a full snapshot of the list, a comparison with the previous one, an email on any change. Only which list is being watched differs.
